BLÜTE AUS X-LED STAHLSTRUKTUR

LED-LICHTER LASSEN EINE EDELSTAHL-BLUME ERBLÜHEN

Südkoreaner leben nicht nur in einer sehr leistungsorientierten Gesellschaft, viele der Einwohner des asiatischen Landes sind sehr kunstaffin. Eine der bekanntesten Ausstellungen in Südkorea ist die Changwon Sculpture Biennale. Einer der größten Publikumsmagnete dabei war die Skulptur einer Blüte mit dem wohlklingenden Namen Amaranth. Die Künstler stellten die beeindruckend große Skulptur auf einem Dach aus. Das Besondere daran war, dass durch insgesamt 2.100 LED-Dots eine unglaublich beleuchtete Edelstahl-Blume erblühte.

STARKES EDELSTAHLNETZ MIT 2.100 LICHT-DOTS

Die Künstler verwendeten für die Wahrwerdung ihrer Vision zwei dafür perfekt geeignete Produkte von CARL STAHL ARCHITEKTUR. Zum einen umschlingt die innere Blüte das Edelstahlnetz X-TEND Colours. Zum anderen werden die X-LED Dots sowohl im inneren, wie auch im äußeren Bereich der Installation verwendet. Auf dem Dach schmeichelte während der Zeit der Biennale die Skulptur, bestehend aus 33 Einzelnetzfeldern, den Augen der zahlreichen Betrachter. Sie schimmerten in jeder einzelnen Farbe, die für die X-TEND Colours Edelstahlnetze zur Verfügung stehen. Diese 33 Felder wurden mit rund 800 X-LED Dots belegt. Die Blüte in ihrer ganzen äußeren Pracht wurde ausschließlich mit dem X-TEND Colours Rot ummantelt. Dort kamen mehr als 1.300 X-LED Dots zusätzlich zum Einsatz und illuminierten das Kunstwerk prachtvoll.

EIN KUNSTWERK BEI TAG UND NACHT

Schon während der hellen Tageslichtstunden konnten sich die Besucher der Biennale nicht an der Amaranth Blüte sattsehen – in der Nacht waren noch viele weitere beeindruckt. Von dieser Pflanzenart, auf Deutsch auch Fuchsschwanz genannt, gibt es weltweit bis zu 100 verschiedene Unterarten. Botanisch gesehen ist der Amaranth ein Pseudogetreide. Nicht pseudo, sondern ganz real sind die Vorteile der Kombination des X-TEND Edelstahlnetzes und des X-LED Lichtmodulsystems. Das eine ist robust und flexibel, das andere ein stromsparendes Licht.

STAINLESS STEEL FLOWER BLOSSOMS WITH X-LED LIGHTS

IRIDESCENT BLOSSOM IN CHANGWON

Not only do South Koreans live in a very meritocratic society, many of the inhabitants of the Asian country are very fond of art. One of the most famous exhibitions in South Korea is the Changwon Sculpture Biennale.

The sculpture of a blossom with the melodious name Amaranth was one of the biggest crowd pullers. The artists exhibited the impressively large sculpture on a roof. The special thing about it was that an incredibly illuminated stainless steel flower blossomed through a total of 2,100 LED dots.

STRONG STAINLESS STEEL MESH WITH 2,100 LIGHT DOTS

In order to realize their vision, the artists used two perfectly suited products from CARL STAHL ARCHITECTURE. On the one hand, the inner blossom is wrapped around the stainless steel mesh X-TEND Colours. On the other hand, the X-LED Dots are used both inside and outside the installation.

During the time of the Biennale, the sculpture, consisting of 33 individual net fields, flattered the eyes of the numerous viewers on the roof. They shimmered in every single colour available for the X-TEND Colours stainless steel mesh. These 33 fields were covered with around 800 X-LED dots. The blossom in all its external splendour was covered exclusively with X-TEND Colours Red. More than 1,300 additional X-LED dots were used to magnificently illuminate the work of art.
