X-LED LINE BRIDGE LIGHTING

The Winamac Memorial Bridge, erected in 1923 as a memorial to the fallen soldiers of the First World War across the River Tippecanoe, now shines in a new light. The pedestrian bridge, which stretches over a total length of around 100 metres, was illuminated with 3,920 LED dots in a 100 mm grid. These LED dots are attached to the bridge cables, which have a diameter of 38 mm, using specially manufactured brackets. The new lighting not only makes an impressive visual statement, but also honours the historical significance of the bridge in a modern way.
